Problem: Create a pocket-sized book about a chosen topic, including type and images. Create a style that can be reinforced on different mediums.
Solution: I created a small book called “Rhyme & Reason” that focuses on rap music with a scrapbook style. The book has four sections, including a featured article on a Chicago rapper. I wrote all the content and edited stock images to have a scrapbook style. I used a graffiti style font as a tribute to Chicago graffiti. I’ve also designed a tour poster that matches the same style of the book for the Chicago rapper.
